Frequently Asked Questions

Health & Wellbeing Coaching is a supportive, colaborative process designed to help you create meaningful and sustainable change.

Together we focus on your goals, habits, mindset and overall wellbeing, to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

We use evidence based coaching techniques for behavior change.

Coaching is forward-looking and action-oriented, helping you set goals and build sustainable habits with clarity, confidence and practical support .

This is a common question – and an important one.

Coaching and counselling both offer support, but they work in different ways.

Health and Wellbeing is:

  • Future-Focused (where you want to be)
  • Goal and action oriented
  • Creating practical, achievable change
  • Focused on behavior change and habit building
  • Supportive of personal growth, health, general wellbeing and preformance.

Counselling or Psycotherapy is:

  • Often “Backward looking”, focusing on processing past experiences or trauma
  • Concerned with emotional healing
  • Delivered by trained, regulated mental health professionals
  • Clinical therapeutic support

As a coach I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you need specialist mental health support, I may encourage you to speak to a qualified counsellor, therapist or healthcare professional so you receive the most appropriate care.

Coaching may be a good fit if you are feeling ready for change, but would value support and accountability along the way.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. Many clients I have supported has come feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or not sure where to start.

Coaching creates a space to pause, reflect and decide on actions moving forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable for you.

While I do not specialise in neurodivergent coaching, I do have experience supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and trauma backgrounds through my work in general practice.

In my experience coaching can work very well for neurodivergent individuals – particularly because it is flexible, collaborative and tailored to you as an individual.

This is not about fitting you into a ridged system or “one size fit all” approach. We work together to find strategies that suit how you think, process and live your life.
